IMPORTANT GUIDANCE FOR AUTHORS

All corresponding authors of the contributions listed in the Programme are strongly advised to submit their presentations in a form of PowerPoint (PPT) or Adobe Reader (PDF) version file to the same e-mail as used for abstracts ( sra-e-2006@ijs.si ) until 15.8.2006 at the latest.

Authors are kindly asked to find their abstract and session info in the Programme/Agenda. For naming presentation files please apply the following model: "102_Marko Gerbec.ppt" where the number 102 corresponds to the ID number of the abstract (see column named "#" in the Programme), while Marko Gerbec is the name of a presenter/corresponding author.

Note that each presentation should be scheduled for 20 minutes (+ 5 minutes Q&A).

Poster board is 240 x 100 cm.

 

Publication of selected papers

Review procedure consists of the following three steps:

  • first, Scientific Committee will select about 20 best abstracts (most promising papers). This selection will take place before conference based on submitted abstracts and presentations in PPT or PDF format.
  • second, during conference these 20 selected abstracts/presentations will be subject of careful observation by reviewers (members of SRA-E). The reviewers will provide their opinion in writing to Scientific Committee and suggest which authors should be invited to submit full papers.
  • third, invited authors should submit full papers after the conference. These will be subject of peer review. Based on peer review about 8 to 10 papers will be recommended for publishing in special issue of Safety Science journal (http://ees.elsevier.com/safety/default.asp).
